REV360 LAUNCHED BY NIGERIA REVENUE SERVICE (NRS) AND ITS ADVANTAGEOUS FEATURES

Nigeria Revenue service launched Rev360, a digital tax administration platform designed to improve tax compliance, simplify taxpayer interactions and strengthen revenue collection based on ongoing reforms to upgrade Nigeria’s tax system to global standard.

Tax administration is critical to economic growth because it encourages voluntary compliance, improves transparency and boosts investor confidence. When tax administration becomes more efficient, compliance becomes easier. When compliance becomes easier, businesses can focus more on growth and productivity.

Rev360 integrates registration, filing, payments, reporting, compliance management, support services and operational intelligence into a single ecosystem.

The platform marked the agency’s transition from digital administration to intelligent administration through real-time visibility, enhanced workflow management, stronger compliance capabilities, improved taxpayer support and data-driven decision-making.

Rev360 consolidates everything a taxpayer needs into a single, unified platform accessible at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng. Registration, filing, payment, refund requests, compliance monitoring, and direct interaction with the tax authority without the need of visiting tax offices.

Another feature is real-time tax ledger access, which allows taxpayers to see their liabilities, credits, payment history, outstanding obligations instantly and reduce prolonged tax disputes.

Also embedded is Multi-currency transaction support, a response to Nigeria’s increasingly internationalized business environment.

For new registrants, the onboarding process has been streamlined by direct integration with the Corporate Affairs Commission database: entering a company’s RC number pulls pre-verified business details automatically, eliminating the redundant re-entry of information the CAC already holds.

Offline functionality is another technically forward-looking feature of Rev360, The platform allows taxpayers to prepare and complete filings without an active internet connection, uploading the completed data once connectivity is restored.

The system also includes built-in logic that flags errors and inconsistencies in offline data before it is uploaded, reducing the volume of rejected or incomplete filings that have historically created backlogs and friction on both sides of the tax administration relationship.

Existing TaxPro Max users were automatically migrated, with login credentials issued by email. New users can register directly through the platform using CAC-verified credentials. The NRS has established a dedicated Rev360 Command Centre — staffed by customer service teams, IT management personnel, and communications officers — to manage the transition period and ensure that technical issues are resolved before they calcify into user frustration.
